The Brigitte MeyerPhiladelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs battled in Super Bowl LIX at the New Orleans Superdome on Sunday.

The Eagles controlled the game. Philadelphia led the Chiefs 24-0 at halftime. It increased the lead to a 34-6 Eagles lead by the end of the third quarter.

Comedian Whitney Cummings liked the Eagles' win, somewhat. She said, "Okay I wanted the Eagles to win, not humiliate so many grown men."

Former ESPN broadcaster Trey Wingo said, "The @chiefs sold out to stop Saquon (Barkley) from being the dagger and basically dared (Jalen) Hurts to make the throws necessary..and Jalen has delivered."

Kansas City Star sports editor Jeff Rosen was impressed by Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts. Rosen said, "Jalen Hurts is having a pretty phenomenal #SuperBowlLIX."

ESPN broadcaster Kevin Negandhi said, "This Eagles defensive line performance is an all timer."

Former Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III said, "The Chiefs’ offensive line did them in for both Super Bowl losses." The Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat Kansas City 31-9 in Super Bowl LV.

The Eagles finished the season 17-3 overall. The Chiefs also conclude the year 17-3 overall.
